Here are gourds cut and ready for you to express yourself with. Great for the crafter without the time or the correct tools needed to get the project off to a good start. No need for you to be surprised by holes and warts hidden underneath the dirt and moldy gourd skin.
You don't have to worry about having an allergic reaction when cleaning moldy gourds with my cleaned gourds. Not only have I cleaned them but I have fixed any flaws they might have had such as holes* or warts. Gourds are priced by size and also quality of shell.
*Note: Mostly I use woodfiller, which is stainable, to repair holes. When stained the repaired areas are a little darker but if the hole is small it looks like a natural area of the gourd.

This next group of gourds have nice hard shells. They are sturdy and sit well. The marks I have filled were scars caused by hail damage but that won't be noticable once you get a coat of paint on them. They all have holes drilled for rim work. 1/4" from edge and 1/4" apart. The first ones are taller than they are wide. |
